In some cases - Frammenti, Tricot and Ombre - they are actual mosaic compositions with an abstract style, in which wood plays the sole starring role, while in others, inspiration comes from delightful natural shapes, such as the soft design of Petali or the abstract floral patterns of Azalea, in which the wood can also engage with marble and metal inserts. This most sophisticated manifestations of this approach can be observed in Diamante Lux and Fenice, as well as in Segreti, which is the result of collaboration with leading names in contemporary ceramic art.
