Creativity and the very high quality of materials and finishes are the fundamental values that allow Foglie d’Oro wooden floors to be appreciated all over the world – by designers and end customers, as well as by insiders who analyze interior design trends on a daily basis and help spread them.
Is the case of the SBID International Design Awards, one of the most prestigious international prizes in the interior design sector, which saw Foglie d’Oro in the spotlight with one of its most interesting and contemporary creations: the Tricot modular floor is on the short list of finalists in the Flooring & Floor Coverings category, with the following motivation:
“The Tricot modular floor – created and patented by Foglie d’Oro – interprets the natural beauty of wood in a contemporary design. Highly customizable in its range of finishes and materials, this sustainably produced floor covering is highly versatile in its potential uses in both residential and commercial settings. The eye-catching pattern has been developed to create elegant geometries, and allows it to be used not only as a floor but also as a vertical surface.”
The product will be judged 70% by a jury, while 30% will be awarded by public vote, which closes on Friday 10 September at 17:00 (CET). The award ceremony will take place on 22 October 2021 at the Nobu Hotel in London.
