An innate passion for Made in Italy

Participating in the CSIO represents one of the most prestigious milestones for an Italian rider. This year, Fabio Brotto achieved this important goal with three horses from the family-owned stud farm, Allevamento Le Roane: Doha, Go Bolensky, and Ipe. Three horses bred, raised, and trained by the Brotto family, climbing all the way to one of the most prominent arenas in international equestrian sports. The choice to breed these horses in Italy is therefore a natural consequence of their dedication to the “Made in Italy” distinction.
Alongside timber, a passion for horses has always accompanied the history of the Brotto family. This experience has helped develop a unique sensitivity toward the growth process, the value of patience, and the importance of daily care. These very same principles have guided Foglie d'Oro for nearly 60 years: from the selection of raw materials to the meticulous craftsmanship, every project is born out of expertise, precision, and a constant pursuit of quality.
Fabio Brotto's presence at this international equestrian competition therefore reflects not only a major sporting achievement, but also a vision that has spanned generations within the Brotto family: a way of working rooted in respect for nature, the culture of craftsmanship, and the pursuit of excellence. These values are also expressed in Foglie d’Oro surfaces—global ambassadors of an authentic “Made in Italy” heritage, built on a deep knowledge of the material, artisanal care, and the ability to transform experience and passion into enduring projects.
