SHAPED over TIME: Foglie d’Oro and Arte Brotto at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026

Sixty years tell the story of a journey defined by consistency, evolution and a deep connection with materials. Since 1966, Arte Brotto and Foglie d’Oro have been working with wood, creating complete environments designed to stand the test of time.

At Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, with SHAPED over TIME, this legacy is both celebrated and translated into a design approach that brings together origin and innovation. Furnishings and surfaces interact seamlessly, defining a coherent and contemporary language. Design modules evolve from 2D to 3D, extending from floors to walls and forming a continuous system. Wood flows through the space, becoming an architectural element capable of integrating aesthetics and function.

The entrance area interprets SHAPED over TIME through a balance between memory and innovation. The Sante Giorgio Brotto workbench represents the origin: a founding gesture from which a journey has evolved over time into an internationally recognized reality. Alongside this narrative of roots is Diamante Chic, one of the first flooring designs created by Foglie d’Oro. The wall is enhanced with Azalea 3D Art, an iconic module from the Relevo 3D collection, shaped into an architectural “bouquet”: Sky Blue and Mountain Rose tones from Colorsense, Fior di Pesco marble inserts and LED lighting integrated into the floral modules create a material and three-dimensional composition. A dialogue between past and future that embodies the shared vision of Foglie d’Oro and Arte Brotto.

Flooring

At Salone del Mobile 2026, Foglie d’Oro presents its evolution through surfaces that combine heritage, design and innovation.

Diamante Chic, one of the company’s earliest floors, is now an icon: a complex geometric design composed of over 65 wooden elements, handcrafted and assembled. A unique example of artisanal mastery and aesthetic research. Ventaglio, a registered design chosen by leading brands for their retail spaces, stands out for its optical effect created by the alternation of light and dark tones. It is presented here in the Sky Blue version, expressing the concept of total match between horizontal and vertical surfaces. Frato interprets contemporary design through three essential shapes that generate complex patterns. Presented in Fumé Oak, it is also available in a 3D version, demonstrating its design versatility.

From Floors to Vertical Surfaces

The entrance surfaces express Foglie d’Oro’s design language through 2D modules enriched with marble and metal inserts, as well as 3D modules, where surfaces are enhanced through relief and light.
2D engages in dialogue with 3D: Azalea appears in its two-dimensional version with Fior di Pesco marble and Smokey Copper metal inserts, while on the entrance wall it takes shape as the floral bouquet of Azalea 3D Art, highlighting the three-dimensionality and versatility of the Relevo system.

In the Nisia 2D cladding, American Walnut in Sky Blue, Mountain Rose, and Ca’ Biasi tones—presented for the first time with a metallic brass-effect finish—creates light reflections that evoke a “textile” texture, giving visual depth and tactile softness, enhanced by the color palette.

Vertical surfaces are enriched with new 3D modules designed to enhance walls and expand expressive possibilities. The solutions become more dynamic, distinctive and customizable, offering maximum design freedom and a high level of bespoke definition. New 3D design modules include: Tricot 3D, Ventaglio Shade 3D, Frato 3D, Nisia 3D, Ombre 3D, Petali 3D, Pop 3D, Diamante 3D. Stay updated on our social channels and website.

A “decoration within decoration”: the boiserie from the Relevo collection, already decorative thanks to the Mini V-Code processing, is enhanced with the new Bamboo pattern, adding a further layer of depth and refinement. Light reflections are carefully designed to emphasize and amplify the pattern, creating visual effects that enhance its aesthetic. A balanced interplay of light and shadow brings dynamism and movement to the surface, making every perspective a unique visual experience. The pattern can be customized according to the client’s needs and preferences.

      Ventaglio Shade 3D

In the area adjacent to the living space, this registered design module—part of The Originals collection—finds a new interpretation in Ventaglio Shade 3D in Ca’ Biasi. The three-dimensionality at the edges of the modules gradually dissolves toward the center of the design: concentric elements within a softly rounded perimeter create an optical effect that enhances depth and interaction with light. The hinged door is also integrated into the boiserie without interrupting the design, maintaining continuity of the system and its progressive three-dimensionality.

      The Door as Architecture

Defining transitions between spaces, the door integrates into the boiserie as part of the overall design, introducing a new way of conceiving this element: no longer purely functional, but a true architectural component.

With Tribeca 3D in Sky Blue Colorsense, the Relevo boiserie integrates the sliding door into a continuous design between wall and opening. The low-relief milling on solid wood combines horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines in ever-changing modular compositions, until the door visually “disappears” into the pattern. In the living area, continuity keeps with Ventaglio folding doors: originally developed as a 2D flooring module, it extends throughout the entire space, creating visual and material coherence, where the same design and finish flow seamlessly from floor to doors. Three-dimensionality is also expressed in the Ventaglio Shade 3D hinged door in Noce Ca’ Biasi: concentric three-dimensional elements at the edges of the modules dissolve toward the center, creating a dynamic effect that enhances depth and interaction with light.

      Total Match

What is presented is one of the possible configurations of Total Match. The synergy between Foglie d’Oro and Arte Brotto defines a continuous design language in which flooring, furnishings and wall systems interact within an environment developed in the Sky Blue tone of the Colorsense palette. Each project remains an open system: finishes, materials and textures can be combined and adapted to create coherent, customized and ever-evolving spaces. This realization is therefore a synthesis of a much broader design potential.
