MATITA is the original wall and floor cladding system designed by architect and designer Fabio Rotella to enhance the strengths of Foglie d’Oro and introduce a product in the market that stands out for its aesthetics and functionality.

The mix of different raw materials – wood, marble, metal – results in creative colour scheme, while MATITA modular system creates an endless number of layouts, suiting every styles and environments, thanks to Foglie d’Oro know-how which develops the creative concept of architect Rotella.

Fine raw materials and made-to-measure solutions

Proposed in the three precious woods of American Walnut, European Walnut and Oak, MATITA basic models include fine inlays – inserts and profiles – of burnished brass, Carrara and black Marquinia marble, maple wood and wenge. A perfect mix of materials that creates essential textures, which catches people’s eyes.

The result is always unique, for a compositional customisation that allows MATITA to be suited for every project.

This is the reason why we came up with the idea to realize a collection that is a true new “parquet system”. Beginning from a defined base shape, outlining a wide range of possibility of laying, finishes, inserts and colours.
