Within the framework of the Venice Boat Show 2022, Studio Marco Piva organises the official conference of the event, “Waterfronts” (29 May 2022, 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.) at the Torre di Porta Nuova Conference Hall in the evocative setting of the Venice Arsenal.

After the success of the first edition, this year the interventions of researchers and professors from some of the most important Italian universities and research institutes will offer to a qualified audience of professionals reflections and in-depth studies on the theme “The Declination of Water”.

Starting from important case studies and thanks to the inspiration – not only metaphorical – of water as a fluid element connecting spaces, ideas and people, different themes, disciplines and professional fields will be interwoven. From the augmented city to the relationship between city and port, from nautical tourism to the urban regeneration of urban environments coexisting with the element of water, in Italy and worldwide.
