The press talked about Elementa, the new Foglie d’Oro collection designed by Marco Piva.
The launching event of the wooden flooring collection Elementa and of the furnishing collection Principe (branded Arte Brotto) took place at the Hotel Excelsior Gallia in Milan on 29 March 2022. It was addressed to the specialised press and aroused the interest of the many journalists and insiders present during and immediately after the talk with which architect Marco Piva, Luisa Brotto (CEO Arte Brotto) and Fabio Brotto (CEO Foglie d’Oro) presented the new products.
The great appreciation for modular floors, which give the designer maximum freedom of composition, enhancing the aesthetic and structural qualities of Walnut and Oak wood – also in dialogue with other precious materials – immediately turned into a long series of articles in the sector’s publications, in newsagents’ as well as online portals.
Here what they said about Elementa:
“The grains and peculiarities of wood are the inspiration for patterns with a clearly recognisable decorative impact. Eco, Ritma, Zago, Unda, Alveo, Regolo: each module evokes suggestions where nature and design meet and gives life to different compositional options.”

“Elementa […] is a collection of floors in walnut and oak, where the geometry is dictated by complex and regular, harmonious and fluid compositions, where along with the selected forms there is always a sudden, repeated external element, an apparent break with the overall composition (inserts, at times, or materials other than wood), that nevertheless turns out to be the icing on the cake, an extra touch that immediately makes an almost 3D impression.”
